High Tea with Santa

Under the glistening chandeliers of the iconic Tea Room Chadstone, book your table for a magical, memorable and intimate Santa Experience.

Indulge in a bespoke Christmas-themed Traditional High Tea designed by the Tea Room Chadstone Executive Chef Rob Crichton and have your memories captured with our professional photography of your special moment with Santa himself.

Sessions commence from Saturday 12 November until Friday 24 December on selected days.

Session Times:

8.30am – 9:30am

10.00am – 11:00am

Ticket Price:

Adult (13 years and over) and Child (1 - 12 years) ticket: $65 (inc. GST and booking fees)

There is no charge for infants (younger than 1 year) and bookings are not required for infants, however, if you do require a high-chair please let us know by emailing us at [email protected] with 48 hours' notice before your session time.

Key Event Conditions

The High Tea with Santa events (Event) are run by Vicinity Centres PM Pty Ltd (ABN 96 101 504 045) (Vicinity, we or us).

Each ticket entitles a person to entry to The Tea Room for 60 minutes for High Tea with Santa or Sensory High Tea with Santa.

Ticket price includes at least 2 digital photos. The photographer is a third party contractor and we accept no responsibility for material contained on the photographer's website or any terms and conditions that may be applicable to you by accessing or purchasing photographs from the photographer's website. Vicinity may receive payment from a third party contractor, RegProm Marketing & Promotions Pty Ltd, in connection with the purchase of photographs.

Tickets must be purchased by persons 18 years or older. All children under 18 years must be accompanied by guardian or parent.

A field for entering your dietary requests is available for you to fulfil upon confirmation of booking. We will do our best to fulfil all dietary requests made at the time of booking.

Any mandatory government issued COVID-restrictions in place at the time of your session will be followed and implemented by the Experience Team, including the potential requirement of wearing of masks for Santa Photography.

DO I NEED TO BOOK MY VISIT WITH SANTA?

Yes. QVB Santa Experiences are only accessible via a booking. Walk-ins are not accepted. Click here to book your visit with Santa.

WHAT ARE THE DATES AND TIMES FOR THE SANTA EXPERIENCES?

High Tea with Santa commences from Saturday 12 November 2022 until Christmas Eve, Saturday 24 December 2022 on selected days. 60-minute time slots are available between 8:30am to 9:30am and 10:00am to 11:00am.

Sensory High Tea with Santa commences from Friday 11 November 2022 until Saturday 19 November on selected days. 60-minute time slots are available between 8:30am to 9:30am and 10:00am to 11:00am.

HOW LONG ARE THE SANTA EXPERIENCES?

High Tea with Santa and Sensory High Tea with Santa sessions run for 60 minutes.

DO YOU ACCOMMODATE GROUP BOOKINGS?

Yes. Santa Experiences accommodates group bookings of up to 10 people. Please ensure you book each person under your Family / Surname to assist The Tea Room QVB to allocate tables for your session.

IS THE SANTA EXPERIENCE ACCESSIBLE BY WHEELCHAIR?

Yes, The Tea Room QVB is fully wheelchair accessible. Speak to one of the friendly team members for assistance.

WHAT MEASURES ARE IN PLACE TO ENSURE COVID SAFETY MEASURES ARE ADHERED TO?

The QVB safety and wellbeing of our customers, retailers, team and community is our top priority with consistent compliance to all government mandates or law.

You must comply with any requirements reasonably imposed by Vicinity and consistent with government mandate or law (and provide evidence of compliance (or exemption if applicable) if requested), to protect the health and safety of people at the Centre and the Event.

Interaction with Santa is allowed in the Photo Areas and we encourage guests to practice safe social distancing by utilising the seating provided.

Santa, host, photographer and assistants will be roving during the session and will be fully briefed in how to practice social distancing throughout the experience.

WHERE SHOULD I PARK FOR MY SANTA EXPERIENCE?

The QVB Car Park located at 111 York Street Sydney. Take the Car Park elevator up to Level 2 then walk to the Market Street side of the building to meet at the check-in area.

WHAT IF I WANT TO CANCEL MY BOOKING?

You may request to cancel your booking by contacting us on the details below. If you request to cancel your booking 48 hours or more before your session time a full refund will be provided to the credit card that you used to make your booking.

WHAT IF I WANT TO CHANGE MY BOOKING?

You may request to reschedule your booking by contacting us using the details above. If you request to reschedule your booking 48 hours or more before your session time, you can reschedule to another available date or time, at no cost.

If you request to reschedule your booking less than 48 hours before your session time, your request will be refused, unless there are exceptional circumstances (which will be determined in our absolute discretion).

We reserve the right to re-schedule session times if necessary due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control. If we need to reschedule a session time, we will if practical notify you of the new session time 48 hours or more before your original session time. If you cannot attend the new session time, a full refund will be provided. We are not responsible for any other costs you might incur relating to the rescheduling of session times.

I'M LATE AND MISSED MY SESSION – CAN I STILL GET MY SANTA EXPERIENCE?

If you fail to attend your session time or request to cancel your booking less than 48 hours before your session time, no refund will be provided. However, if you believe there are exceptional circumstances, please contact the Guest Experience team via email [email protected]  or call 02 9264 9209. In such circumstances, we may choose (in our absolute discretion) to offer you a refund.

AM I ABLE TO TAKE PHOTOS ON MY CAMERA OR PHONE?

We encourage our guests to capture as many photos as you wish throughout your experience. You must not take photos of other people during the experience without their express consent. We do ask you to be mindful of your time with Santa to ensure all families are able to enjoy their experience.

IS THERE AN AGE LIMIT FOR THE SANTA EXPERIENCES?

Any age is welcome to the QVB Santa Experiences. Tickets must be purchased by patrons 18 years or older. All children under 18 years must be accompanied by guardian or parent.

WILL THERE BE DIETARY OPTIONS FOR THE HIGH TEA?

Yes, The Tea Room QVB are able to offer the following options:

1. Standard High Tea

2. Vegetarian High Tea

3. Gluten Free High Tea

4. Vegan High Tea

5. Nut Free High Tea

Following your booking, please ensure you complete the questionnaire requesting your dietary requirements.

All requests will need to be requested ahead of your session time so the Tea Room chefs can pre-prepare.

WILL THERE BE A PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHER ON SITE?

Yes, we will have a roving photographer and assistant there to capture professional photos – you are able to choose if you would like to have them capture your/your booking group's photos with Santa or you can capture photos of you/your booking group with Santa.

WHEN CAN I ACCESS MY PHOTOGRAPHS?

The Santa experience allows you to not only capture your own images, but also to receive up to 2 digital images. The gallery will be accessible after your session.

WHAT IS SENSORY HIGH TEA WITH SANTA?

High Tea with Santa may not be suitable for everyone, including persons who are sensitive to higher impact sensory elements, including bright and flashing lights and loud noises. If you consider that High Tea with Santa is not suitable for you or a member of your booking group, please make a booking for Sensory High Tea with Santa instead.

The QVB has created Sensory Santa sessions that have be considerately designed to facilitate an experience in a calm and considered environment. These sessions are designed with lower impact sensory elements, quieter sounds, gentle lighting and sensitive Santa moments.

We ask that you only make a booking for Sensory High Tea with Santa if you or a member of your booking group is unable to attend High Tea with Santa because of a sensitivity to high impact sensory elements, including bright flashing lights and loud noises. If you and your booking group members do not have a sensitivity of this nature, we ask that you make a booking for High Tea with Santa instead.
