Have you ever looked at an insanely intricate illustration on a pair of Dr. Martens and thought: how the hell did someone draw that?
We have. So, we’ve rounded up some helpful tips to get you started.

1. Draw out designs in a sketchbook. Go wild.

2. Transfer your favourite bits onto tracing paper

3. Experiment placing your drawings on different parts of the boots. We recommend using the 1460 Smooth boots for best results (https://www.drmartens.com.au/1460-8-eye-boot-smooth-11822006-bsm.html#93=3619).

4. Once you’re happy with the placement, draw around the outlines with Posca pens.
